Storage and use of scanned proofs of origin
Scanned proofs of origin have the same validity as the original proofs of origin.
You may use and store all forms of proofs of origin electronically during customs clearance and for recalculation purposes.
Scanned documents and documents in paper have the same status as originals.
Guidelines for using scanned documents
- For the customs office to approve scanned documents, the scan must be so clear that there is no doubt about what the document says.
- The customs office determines whether the quality of the scanned document is sufficient.
