Fish and crustaceans

In order to export fish from Norway you need to register with the Norwegian Seafood Council.

Once registered as a fish exporter you will receive a registration number. This number is used in connection with export clearance of your products.

The annual fee is NOK 15000.

In addition you need to pay an export fee. This fee is payable to Customs at the time of export. The rate varies from 0.3% to 1.05% of the fob-value, depending on the type of fish.
